Your Local Patio Cleaning Experts
Patios can often come up as good as new. Even very tired surfaces with no visible colour except black can be revived.
We offer a year-round Patio Cleaning service. Enabling our customers to enjoy the best of their outdoor space in the Spring and Summer months and keeping it safe to use and “non-slip” in the Autumn and Winter.

We achieve outstanding results using a powerful, petrol engine-driven power washer as part of a three or four-step system depending on the surface:-
-
1. After clearing the area of all furniture and potted plants, we apply a weed killer to all joints and edges where weeds are present.
This is done a minimum of 24 hours prior to the cleaning taking place. Allowing the weed killer to do its job.
-
2. Using the pressure washer, we thoroughly clean the entire surface, stopping to collect the sludge and weeds as we go. The waste is removed from the site.
-
3. If the surface is block paving or similar, new sand is brushed into the joints.
-
4. A biocidal anti-fungal wash is then sprayed to the surface. This final stage is carried out to keep the surface as clean as possible for as long as possible
Soft Natural Stone
Some surfaces are not hard enough to be cleaned with a power washer. Specific stones should be cleaned with a rotary brush and weakened acidic solution.
If you have concerns about the surface of your patio or perhaps the cement/mortar joints are loose. Speak to us about alternative methods, and we can advise you on a suitable option.

FAQ's From Our Customers
Question
We have a mixture of paving and decking. Can you clean both?
Answer
Yes. We can clean wooden decking as well as paving.
Question
We have dwarf walls surrounding the patio that are also green and need cleaning. Is this included when you quote?
Answer
We would agree on exactly what needs to be done on each job.
Certainly, walls can be cleaned at the same time and using the same method.
Question
We had the patio cleaned last year. The company that did the job blew all the mortar between the joints.
It cost us more to get the mortar re-done than the clean. It needs doing again {cleaning} but can it be done without damaging the joints?
Answer
The short answer is yes, but we would need to see the job. Old mortar and the new “brush in” method are incompatible with pressure washing.
A rotary brush could be the option for your patio. This is a much gentler process and would not blow the mortar.
